At Mia Consultancy we take your privacy seriously. This page explains what information is processed when you visit miaconsultancy.com, how it is used, and what rights you have.

1. General

This website is an informational site. There is no membership, no account creation, and no form that transmits your details to us. Information reaches us only when you choose to send us an email directly.

Personal information you send us is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

2. What Data Is Processed on This Site

The contact form runs in your browser. When you fill in the form on our contact page and submit it, your details are not sent to us. Instead, a draft email opens in your own email program, pre-filled with what you typed. Nothing reaches us until you decide to send that draft yourself.

Email contact. When you email us, your name, email address and anything else you include in your message arrive in our inbox and are kept so that we can respond to your enquiry.

Technical logs. This site is statically hosted. As with any web server, our hosting provider may record technical connection data such as IP address, browser type and time of access, for security and for delivering the site. We do not access these logs to build individual profiles.

No visitor tracking. The site uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies or comparable technologies.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

This site sets no tracking cookies. The only thing stored is a small preference in your browser’s local storage, remembering whether you chose the light or dark theme. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is not used to identify you. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

4. Third-Party Content

Some images on this site are loaded from Unsplash. When those images are displayed, your browser makes a request to that provider, and technical data such as your IP address may be processed by them in the process. That processing is subject to the provider’s own privacy policy.

5. How Information Is Used

Information that reaches us is used only to:

  • respond to your enquiries and requests for a conversation,
  • assess together the possible scope of an engagement,
  • contact you where necessary.

It is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.

6. Data Within Our Consultancy Work

In the course of our consultancy work with clubs, organisations and other clients, we may need to process personal data. Such data is not collected through this website. In those engagements, processing is governed by the contracts and confidentiality agreements signed with the organisation concerned and, where required, by separate privacy notices and explicit consent obtained from the individuals involved.

7. Retention

Information you send us by email is kept for as long as it is needed to handle your request and to support any resulting engagement. After that, or on your request, it is deleted unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information that reaches us against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Access is limited to the team members involved in the relevant enquiry or project.

9. Your Rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about it, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to processing, and to request that your data be transferred.
