Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions people ask us first.
Working with us
Who do you work with?
Professional sports clubs and academies, including their coaches, players and families, and employers who bring young professionals into their teams.
Do you provide therapy?
No. We do not provide therapy inside the clubs and organisations we advise. When someone needs clinical support, we help set up a proper referral route to it.
Do you get involved in coaching or selection?
No. We do not interfere with coaching or tactical decisions, and psychological support is kept independent of selection and performance evaluation.
Is this a one-off workshop?
Usually not. We would rather build something that keeps working inside the club or organisation than run a single session. What we propose depends on what we find when we first look at the situation.
Confidentiality and results
Is what people tell you shared with their club or employer?
No. Personal information stays confidential and is kept apart from assessment, selection and other decisions about the person.
How do you handle work with children and young athletes?
Safeguarding, referral pathways, confidentiality and careful handling of data are built into the programme from the start, not added later.
How do you know whether it worked?
We set a baseline at the start, agree objectives with you, and measure again at the end to see what has actually changed.
How do we get started?
Send us a short description of the situation through the contact page. We'll ask questions first, and only then suggest what we could do.
Still have a question?
Write to us and we'll answer it.
